“Boys II Planet” was the third installment of Mnet’s space-themed reality competition series, following “Girls Planet 999” in 2021 and “Boys Planet” in 2023.
“Boys II Planet” premiered on July 17, 2025, with 160 contestants. They were originally divided into two programs: “Planet K” (based in Korea) and “Planet C” (based in China). However, after the first elimination round, the remaining groups of contestants were merged together.
The show concluded on Sept. 25 with the announcement of the top eight contestants as voted by Korean and global fans. These contestants will debut as the group ALPHA DRIVE ONE.
