EVAN (이희승, formerly HEESEUNG of ENHYPEN) has released his 1st Mini Album "DEATH OF ME" via BELIFT LAB, becoming the most pre-saved album by a K-pop soloist in Spotify history with over 500,000 pre-saves ahead of release.
The eight-track project marks the next step in EVAN's solo journey, following his debut digital single "Ride or Die" in June 2026. Taking creative lead across all eight tracks, spanning songwriting, production, and creative direction, EVAN delivers a deeply personal album that navigates the complex emotions of stepping into a new chapter with honesty and resolve. The album concept was drawn in part from a line in "One Piece": that a person truly dies only when they are forgotten. For EVAN, the idea connects directly to his biggest fear as a musician; becoming an artist whose work no longer reaches listeners.
The title track "Death of Me" is a heavy Pop R&B track co-written by EVAN, centred on his declaration to stay true to himself no matter what stands in his way: "Ain't the death of me." The accompanying music video, built around the concept of "LIVE", playing on the dual meaning of being alive and performing, places EVAN on stage in a high-energy visual spectacle.
