This season was… interesting. It was the same as the first season in almost every regard except the cast. Honestly, the fact that most of the games were the same and so was the camp almost set it up to be boring. It’s like the production crew was relying on the dynamics between people to carry the show, which they did.

The cast seemed a bit more diverse than the first season but simultaneously the same. You could almost fit each person into a mold of someone from season one. For example, many people who watched the show have said this; it seemed like they were pushing for Shin Seul Ki to be the Song Jia of the season.

Although it felt like they focused on her more than they focused on Song Jia in the first season. Many are referring to it as ‘The Seul Ki Show’ because most of the screen time was focused on her.

In terms of the guys, the same can be said for Kim Jin Young. They both got sooo much focus this season. Once again, there were contestants who were overlooked despite being the ideal type of thousands of viewers such as Han Bin, Nadine, and Se Jeong.

The love lines between So E (once she finally got over Yoong Jae) and Se Jun, and Seo Eun and Yoong Jae were super sweet to watch, too.

However, this season reiterated how putting together people who have probably never been rejected in real life in one place to reject each other probably does a number on them mentally. The way that some contestants struggled to move on from rejection was interesting to watch.
