Lezhin Snack Unveils September Lineup: Three Webtoon-Based Short Dramas Including "My Father's Table" Directed by Lee Joon Ik

Lezhin Snack, the global short-form drama platform from Lezhin Entertainment, has revealed its September lineup, three webtoon-based series spanning adult romance, supernatural action, and award-winning family drama.

The month's headline title is "My Father's Table," directed by acclaimed filmmaker Lee Joon Ik, known for "The King and the Clown," "Dongju: The Portrait of a Poet," and "The Book of Fish", marking his first foray into short-form drama. The series made its debut at the 30th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival before premiering exclusively at Lotte Cinema in Korea on September 9, making history as the first short-form drama to receive a theatrical release. It arrives on Lezhin Snack in two parts: Part 1 on September 17 and Part 2 on September 24, both at 5 PM KST.

Based on the Lezhin Comics webtoon by Oh Gye, "An Innocent Sin" follows Nayeon, an office worker who stumbles into "Peach Puff", a secret members-only club, after receiving a mysterious invitation from Noah, an enigmatic man who draws her into a world of hidden desires. The series is directed by Kobe, known for web drama "Love Playlist" and short-form drama "How Close Are We." Park Hyun plays Noah, returning to Lezhin Snack following roles in "Sadistic Beauty" and "The Poor Couple in the Billionaire's Mansion." Lee In A makes her acting debut as Nayeon, with Son So Mang ("Marry You," "The Story of Park's Marriage Contract") rounding out the cast as Habin, Noah's older sister and club operator.

Adapted from the Lezhin Comics webtoon by writer Doldom and illustrator Yang Geng, which has accumulated over 5 million cumulative views, "Psychic Gambler: Betting Man" is a supernatural gambling action series following Jingu, a man with the ability to see through objects, who enters a high-stakes game to take revenge on the psychic who once pushed him to ruin. The series is directed by Lee Saet Byul, who previously wrote the screenplay for Lezhin Snack's "Painter of the Night." Jung Jun Hwan plays Jingu, with Ko Do Ha as the psychic Inju, Kim Young Hoon as veteran gambler Chansu, and Choi Ha Seul as the quick-witted Hana.

Based on writer Gorita's webtoon of the same name, "My Father's Table" is a family drama about Haeung, a man who has never once entered a kitchen in 40 years of marriage, who is forced to cook for the first time after his wife Sunae develops a condition that leaves her unable to do so. Jung Jin Young ("Mother and Mom," "Chief of Staff") plays Haeung, while Lee Jung Eun ("Parasite," "Daily Dose of Sunshine") plays Sunae and Byun Yo Han ("Mr. Sunshine," "Black Out") plays their eldest son Myeongbok.

All three titles are available on the Lezhin Snack app, downloadable on Google Play and the Apple App Store, with global availability across Korea, the US, and Japan.
